Front Office Staff
Allie Bernard recently graduated from California State University, Northridge with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Her love for animals brought her here to Porter Pet Hospital where she thoroughly loves what she does. She plans on attending graduate school in the Fall of 2012 and in her free time enjoys hanging out with her family and friends
Annie Saengjaeng worked at Porter Pet Hospital many years ago and is now back with us. She is a wife and a mother of two. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and loves being involved in her son's sporting activities.
Steven Chavarria is currently studying to be a surgical technician in Los Angeles. He has had previous experience as an veterinary technician and receptionist and loves animals dearly. In his spare time he enjoys drawing and playing his guitar
Technical Staff
Francisco recently passed the test to be a Registered Veterinary Technician. He worked at Porter Pet Hospital in 2000 before obtaining valuable experience at a specialty practice in L.A. But he couldn't stay away. Francisco is an experienced technician and graphic artist. In his spare time, he works at his parent's graphic design company and spends time with his girls: his wife and baby daughter.
While quiet, Tomas has a great attitude and is always willing to lend a hand when needed. He speaks mostly Spanish but is studying English in night school. He enjoys listening to music, playing soccer, and participating in his church.
Elizabeth is studying in the RVT (Registered Veterinary Technician) program at Pierce College. She first came to Porter as a volunteer in 2007 but found she liked it so much, she couldn't leave! She is active in her church choir and very close with her family.
Grooming & Kennel Staff
Teresa has been with Porter Pet Hospital longer than any other staff member. She just celebrated her 15th anniversary with the hospital. She has been professionally trained in grooming and styling pets' hair. Teresa spends her spare time with her family and volunteering at her church.
Ivan has been working in the veterinary field for 7 years caring for animals. He is new to Porter Pet Hosptial and has fit in very well. He is hard working and is always willing to help out. As well as working with animals he is a handy man who can fix anything and always has a big smile on his face.
Imari has recently joined our team here at Porter Pet Hosptial. He is a very hard working, humble person who loves working with animals and is always open to learn new things. He is a writer and loves all genres of music.
Practice Manager
Tanya is our new PM at Porter Pet Hospital! She is currently achieving all of the necessary qualifications and is soon to be a CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager). Tanya is the proud "Pet Mommy" of 2 rescued pitbulls, 'Brewtus' and 'Bishop', and 2 rescued cats, 'Meowzer' and 'Thurgood'. Tanya enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and dogs playing frizbee, watching stand up comedy, and cooking.
